Ottawa-based singer-songwriter Julie Stella describes her genre as sad girl vibes, inspired by the likes of Emily Haines and the Soft Skeleton, with a hint of Feist and Fiona Apple. Her songs might be described as sometimes nostalgic, but mostly depressing. Julie creates music to dig through the complex layers of loss, acceptance and growing up.

Sam Stone is a singer-songwriter from Ottawa, ON who showcases her soulful, powerhouse vocals and seasoned stage presence during any performance opportunity. Her vocals are in high demand in the Ottawa and surrounding area performing acoustically, with a full band, or in studio as a session vocalist. Sam is currently getting ready to debut her new, original project in March 2023 inspired by country lyrics and soulful melodies and received a nomination for Jazz/Blues Musician of the year with the 2023 Ottawa Awards.

Like a treehouse, Sophie D’Orléans’ music is imaginative but grounded, intimate but open, vulnerable but resilient. Her sound is a blend of bergamot, lemon and vanilla, soft and playful, uplifting and refreshing. Her flavor of alt-pop features hints of soul, folk and indie rock. Motivated by the desire to build a career both in French and English, Sophie has chosen to lay down her musical roots in her hometown, Ottawa.
