Arms of the Girl & Guests

Head for West Records presents their 10th Showcase at LIVE! on Elgin

Arms of the Girl:
Arms of the Girl is a female-fronted Ottawa band that plays bluesy-twangy rock. Known for their high-energy live show, Arms has been compared to Alanis Morissette, Sheryl Crow, and Serena Ryder. With introspective, playful lyrics, powerful guitar riffs and solos, and a fun, engaging band chemistry, Arms delivers solid, memorable performances. Notable shows include Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest and opening for Roadrunner Records’ Bleeker Ridge.

Lost Acres:
Lost Acres are five noisemakers trying to act cool, while suppressing mass amounts of anxiety. On a suicide mission to drag rock n’ roll from the murky swamps, in which it’s currently held captive. They are big fans of nicknames and enjoy "kicking ass and playing brass" in their spare time. Check them out on Spotify!

Emma Lamontagne
Emma Lamontagne is a young singer/songwriter who aspires to inspire others through her music. She writes acoustic pop music with hints of indie and folk. Emma won the RBC Bluesfest "She's The One" Competition in 2016, and her song "I Don't Sleep" has over 300k streams on Spotify!
