Ash Ravens:
Nominated for ‘Newcomer of the Year 2022’ by Ottawa Music Industry Coalition, and recipient of the SEED Award by City of Ottawa; the Bangladesh born, globe-trotting artist Ash Ravens has made Ottawa his home in 2021 after living in Melbourne, Australia and Los Angeles, USA. Although he is new to the Canadian music scene, he is already making waves blessed with an instantly recognizable sound full of guitar-driven songs and virtuosic instrumentals that will appeal to both the discerning and the casual listener. With life experience and a stage presence beyond his years backed by a solid band composed of Ottawa’s best musicians, Ash Ravens is a musical treat to experience.

What do you get when you put two seasoned guys on rhythme with a musical prodigy?
Jon Dale was put together serindipidously just as the whole world was spinning towards an extended hibernation. An old Anglican Church built by boat-makers in the 1850s provided the perfect sanctuary for these three to begin to craft an original set of tunes akin to classic rock bands from the 70s; think The Band and the Rolling Stones with a modern, country edge. This solid core later added a guitarist and vocalist to fill out the sound.
