Shepherd's Of Good Hope Fundraiser
at LIVE! on Elgin

Allie Goodyear:
Allie Goodyear is a singer-songwriter from Ottawa, Ontario. As a teenager, she performed her original songs at local events in Ottawa, as part of the Ottawa Fringe Festival and Marvest Folk Festival, and wrote the theme song for a local ice cream shop, The Merry Dairy.
She is influenced by artists such as Fleetwood Mac, Adrienne Lenker, and Joni Mitchell, incorporating storytelling and catchy melodies in her songs. Allie has been songwriting since age ten and writes far beyond her years. Allie has released two singles, “Breathe” and “Mirror”, and strives to share music that helps others feel less alone.
Currently a student at Queen’s University, Allie works on her music as a creative outlet between lectures and labs, and is looking forward to sharing more original music soon!

Christophe Elie:
Political Folksinger, Christophe Elie is releasing a new album this year, from the eye of the storm, that we find ourselves in. This new work of art, is his follow up to his album Bridging Borders, that explored both the beauty and challenge of those intersections of culture, language, geography and religion. The new songs question war and celebrate the people’s love for each other! His primary focus is local, mixing music, art and activism in the community, to protect the limited green space and keep issues of social justice top of mind. Elie also hosts a CKCU radio show called “Songs for the Revolution” and hosts a songwriters group in Ottawa called Writers’ Bloc.

Featuring the music of Dan Petti, Christophe Elie, and Allie Goodyear

Dan Petti:
Dan Petti’s music is inspired by life, nature, love, and family. From upbeat singalongs, to emotional ballads, he incorporates driving guitar picking, with banjo, mandolin and fiddle, to create a rootsy take on today's modern Canadian Country music. Dan’s debut single, "My Kind Of Road", made it to #1 on the Canadian Indie Country Countdown, and has over 10,700 streams on Spotify. He won Country Artist Of The Year in 2024 at the Ottawa Faces Awards, and then released his debut CD, “Deeper Roots” later that year to a sold out crowd at Overflow Brewpub. He recently released his first official duet with friend and local Country star, Erica Brighthill. He is excited to release his newest single, "Coffee Cup", a powerful story song about our local homelessness issue, and connecting it with this fundraiser show at LIVE! On Elgin to help raise more money for Shepherds Of Good Hope.  He performs and records with many local artists around the Ottawa area and is a huge supporter of the Ottawa music scene.
