WHYGO at LIVE! ON ELGIN W/ Varitones and Sir Kingfish
VARITONES:
Varitones is a Rock and Roll band known for bringing the energy and feel of rock’s greatest eras forwards into the modern landscape. Through gritty riffs, powerful vocals, bombastic drums, tight bass grooves and dynamic keyboards, they seek to make their mark on modern music. On their latest album “From the Bedlam” (released June 2026), they deliver a diverse collection of songs that are raw, uncompromising, mysterious and overflowing with energy.
This sonic blueprint translates into an electrifying live show where everything is left on the stage. Where the amps roar, the cymbals are bashed, and most importantly, all audiences are left blown away.
SIR KINGFISH:
Sir Kingfish is an Ottawa-based four-piece psychedelic rock band with heavy influences from bands like King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Thee Oh Sees, Frankie and the Witch Fingers, and more. Specializing in the act of blowing minds (and eardrums) with INSANE-O sounds and a plethora of time signatures, Sir Kingfish is taking over the world one show at a time.
WHYGO:
Originally from New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, now based in Kingston, Ontario, WHYGO is a three piece alternative rock band with versatility, taking inspiration from genres such as blues, soul, classical, metal and virtually anything in between.
Consisting of Bass, Drums, Guitar and three unique vocalists, WHYGO uses their tight knit chemistry as a weapon when authoring heartfelt poeticism and composing graceful yet thrashing epics, all with the deliverance and edge that the world has come to crave when they hear the words "power trio.”
